Welcome to Vine Talk, a series of occasional articles about wine and its enjoyment.
Cheers to a Great First Year!
I think it appropriate to begin the Vine Talk section with a true thanks to everyone who has helped the wine school get started off on the right foot this year...friends, family, restaurants, site developers, art and print guys. We finally did it! Thank you! And thanks to all of our students - your patience and suggestions have helped us develop a great class and a truly enjoyable event! I'm looking forward to a fun year of new wines, classes, special events, and the always unpredictable private parties!
I have no specific plans on exactly what we'll be discussing here, but as always is my take on wines, we'll keep it simple, fun, and educational...and I'll do my best to inter"vine" those elements into this section.
With that said I'd like to thank the Nov 11th group and congratulate you on being Wine Staars! I hope everyone enjoyed the evening (which did not end early) as much as I did. I look forward to seeing everyone in Intermediate 102 class which is coming soon!
So to make sure I stick with the what I promised and in true class fashion, I put up another article that talks about that "age-worthy” question that we always get in our Introduction Classes...how can you tell if a wine is an "age-worthy" wine? So read on my friends and thanks again for a very fun wine-filled year!
Cheers!
